March 22, 2017Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc (ATL) hosts the 2017 LIMS Webcast Series and the next webcast is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19th. This webcast is entitled A LIMS Primer for the Cannabis Industry and is targeted for organizations focused on cannabis science, testing and research. With 28 states expected to enact new cannabis testing regulations this year, laboratories are turning to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) as a core component of their lab operations to ensure regulatory compliance.

Webcast Overview

With a growing number of states legalizing cannabis in some form (medical or recreational), the need for regulated testing has increased. As a result, cannabis testing laboratories are realizing the critical role that a LIMS can play in efficient sample management, analysis and reporting while ensuring they are able to adapt to new and changing regulatory requirements. This webcast will help laboratories justify the need for a LIMS, and provide them with a roadmap for selection and implementation.

Topics Covered During the Webcast

  • Sample Master® provides a secure Laboratory Information Management System to facilitate analysis of cannabinoid testing for potency, terpenes, pesticides/fungicides/plant growth regulators, residual solvents, and microbiological contaminants (mold, insects, bacteria, etc.) Sample Master® has the ability to interface with other systems such as METRC, accounting packages and other ODBC compliant systems.
  • Automatic generation of Certificate of Analysis can be easily exported to clients’ email or accessed any time by utilizing ATL’s Result Point® web portal.
  • We will review the compelling benefits of a SaaS implementation including: Prompt deployment and full scalability, a monthly subscription fee, no capital investment needed for servers/servers/storage/database/security, and Rapid Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Sample Master® LIMS can help facilitate regulatory compliance for state agencies and support ISO 17025 criteria.
