ATL is excited to be presenting at Remote Lab Tech Day. The title of the presentation is Intelligent Data Management for Water Quality Laboratories and is scheduled for Wednesday, August 1st at 9:15AM. Remote Lab Tech Day is an annual educational event hosted by the NCWOA’s Lab Analyst Committee, whose mission is to educate and train personnel involved in the analysis of drinking water.
Intelligent Data Management for Water Quality Laboratories will be presented by Mary Shanaver of Accelerated Technology Laboratories. This presentation will provide professionals in the water industry with a solid understanding of best practices in creating, managing and protecting high quality data for the water industry. Attendees will learn what role a LIMS plays in data management for reporting, improving data quality as well as resource maximization. The presentation will focus on automation, the utilization of positive ID, leveraging bar-coding, instrument integration, automated reporting via automated emails along with client communication with a secure web portal. The presentation will also include a discussion on the use of mobile devices to provide real-time data and considerable cost savings along with a copy of a case study at a major Virginia utility.
