Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), continues the 2019 LIMS Webcast Series on Wednesday, August 14th with LIMS: A Critical Tool for Today’s Environmental Laboratory. This month, we will focus on the challenges faced by environmental laboratories and why a LIMS is an essential component of lab operations. ATL is honored to be co-hosting this webcast with one of our ATL LIMS customers, Colorado Analytical Laboratories (CAL). Stuart Nielson, VP and Business Operations Manager at CAL, will talk about the company’s use of laboratory automation and the benefits that ATL Sample Master® LIMS has brought to the lab.
Colorado Analytical Laboratories, founded in 1962, provides analytical services to its clients in the state of Colorado. Originally an agronomic and animal feed testing lab, CAL has evolved to drinking water, wastewater and soil testing, specializing in inorganics, microbiology and metals. During this time, CAL implemented ATL Sample Master LIMS. Stuart Nielson of CAL will talk about the challenges CAL faced prior to implementing the LIMS and summarize the primary reasons for making this acquisition. Then Stuart will provide an overview of how they use Sample Master LIMS to help manage the lab’s operations and why he believes it has been and will continue to be critical to the company’s success.
