Lab Automation: Trends and Advances in the Water/Wastewater Sector will focus on the challenges water, wastewater, and environmental water quality laboratories in North Carolina are currently facing. It will highlight some of the latest advances in laboratory automation and LIMS in addressing these issues. Today, laboratories are experiencing attrition without replacements and are forced to do more work with fewer resources. Mobile technology is transforming the way data is scheduled, collected, managed, communicated, and stored, helping labs run more .

Dr. Christine Paszko, ATL’s Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, is honored to be co-hosting the presentation with one of its LIMS customers, the City of Raleigh, NC. Two laboratory scientists from the City of Raleigh (Marcus Bryant and Robin Scudelari) will summarize trends and advances they observed at Raleigh’s drinking water and wastewater environmental laboratories. They will also articulate the value of LIMS and laboratory automation in addressing recent challenges.

The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7 and repeated on Thursday, July 9. Access to this virtual Laboratory Technology Day is available to NC WOA and AWWA-WEA members. For more details, please visit ncwoa.com or ncsafewater.org.
