March 23, 2023: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), continues the 2023 LIMS Webcast Series on Wednesday, April 12, with A Complete Guide to TNI/NELAP Accreditation Preparation. This webcast will provide guidance for environmental laboratories focused on achieving and maintaining accreditation in the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). We will also focus on the valuable role that a LIMS can play in ensuring NELAP accreditation. Environmental laboratories planning for the upcoming changes to the California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) are also encouraged to attend since the accreditation requirements are based on NELAP.
The NELAP, operated by The NELAC Institute (TNI), is increasingly significant and has become the required accreditation program for environmental laboratories around the country. The webcast will provide an overview of NELAP, and illustrate how laboratories can prepare for NELAP accreditation and maintenance using their LIMS. The presentation will include advice from representatives of the International Accreditation Service (IAS) on preparing for both NELAP accreditation as well as the on-site assessment. And we will wrap up with a presentation from one of our LIMS customers, a wastewater treatment laboratory in California. You’ll hear how this laboratory uses LIMS to maintain compliance with the CA ELAP.
